A low cost option is the Samson Evolution tube rail.
I had one of these a good few years back and it’s still one of my favourite M4 rails. I had the 9″ on a CQBR.
It’s really easy to install. It comes with a couple of brackets which utilise the existing barrel nut; you just have to remove the delta ring and spring.
Quality is awesome. It is better made than some rails I’ve owned, which have cost twice the price. Plus, it sits in the hand most comfortably. Great shape.
