Following the publication of today’s blog about the Blue Force Gear Stackable Tenspeed Pouch, a couple of people asked about the item I’ve used to attach a carabiner to my Crye Airlite Convertible Chest Rig:
It’s a British Tactical Molle T Mount.
Right now I can’t find the item on their website but it’s a very simple solution, combining high quality webbing and hardware; and it’s just one of those widgets I like having around as I know it’ll be useful.
In the implementation shown, I find the big loop perfect for attaching/detaching the biner. This isn’t what it’s necessarily designed for, but it neatly fits my use case in this instance.
The big picture is that these things have multiple uses and for that reason they are worth considering.
