“Perroz: Pashto word for the feeling you get after you have been successful in battle.”
I got a notification on Facebook that a mate had liked a company called Perroz Designs. I’d not heard of Perroz before, so I had a look and ended up on their clear, clean, concise website. I didn’t know I needed their Faux Suppressor Cover at the time, but as soon as I saw it, I wanted one.
I look at nylon pics pretty closely before I buy. If the manufacturer can’t even be bothered to at least get the example pics perfect, I look elsewhere. You’d be amazed at how many manufacturers think wonky stitching shows the best side of their products. The pics on Perroz’s site really sold the cover to me because it looked extremely well made.

Here’s the product description:
“Protect your can! 1/8th inch US GI MIL SPEC bungee cord and ITW Nexus GTSP Cordloc for tight fit and retention. Foliage/scrim can be added for outdoor use. Possible to install in either direction – with the suppressor removed or attached to the weapon. Velcro adjustable.
All fabric is 500 Denier coated Solution Dyed CORDURA® Nylon. Solution dyed, made to MIL-C-43734D Class 3. Solution dyed means that the yarn was dyed when made so that the fabric is dyed all the way through the fabric. This means that the colour holds up better to abrasion and is less IR reflective.
Each cover uses matching coloured hook Velco, including TAN 499 for use with Multicam – as well as matching 1 inch webbing.
Handmade – quality guaranteed. Made in Canada.
Size: 6 inches wide x 5 inches high (1.5 inches diameter). Custom sizing available.”
Ordering was easy. From the specs, I worked out I needed one standard length cover for my PTS AAC Mini4 can and a 170mm cover for a mate’s PTS AAC M4-2000. In hindsight it perhaps would have been polite to email Milan at Perroz prior to ordering, to discuss the custom length cover, but I misread the instructions on the website. I ordered then emailed, but Milan was extremely prompt in reply and quickly bottomed out what it was I was after. I was in safe hands.
Just under a week went by and I’d not heard anything, so I pinged Milan. About an hour later, a parcel plopped through the letterbox from Canada…containing the finished items. Bear in mind I live in the UK.
The covers are no less impressive in the flesh. They are well cut and stitched, using quality materials.
Fitting was easy. I adjusted the girth of the cover using the hook and loop strip, then cinched the cover tight with the paracord and Cordloc.
Here’s the shorter version for my Mini4:

I’ve been so impressed with the entire process that the items themselves almost seem like a bonus 🙂
Yay Canada! Customer Service Excellent category well deserved.
