I saw this awesome blaster on C16’s Instagram feed. Had to blog it. C16 kindly sent me some words and some awesome pics:
“I decided to refresh a battle worn desert paint job I did a year ago, with some dots/snakeskin.”

Paints Used
“Fosco Desert
Montana MTN94:
-RV114 (Maya Green)
-RV132 (Borneo Green)
-RV139 (Sequoia Brown)
-RV140 (Mole Brown)
Montana Alien:
-RV41 (Native Brown)
-R8025 (Mud)
Revell
-66 Mat (Olive Grey)
-87 Mat (Earth Brown)”

“Paint used for the base is Fosco Desert.
After that, a few blurry spots with greens and medium browns.
Next, some dots with Revell model paint on a piece of cloth, smashed randomly to make it look like dirt.
At the end, light and dark spots to create some contrast (to break the plain surface) with RV41, RV140, RV132 + some nets I found around the house.”

“Finally, I applied some paint thinner on a piece of cloth and removed the paint on the edges for a pre-worn look.”

Thanks to C16 for words and pics!
