On most days there’s a priceless, no bullshit opinion like the one above; or, a look back at the development of the sort of high end tactical kit we now take for granted.
Vickers has been instrumental in the development of a lot of things, but I was surprised to read recently that as Delta’s NCO of R&D, he requested a partnership with a certain Heckler & Koch, which resulted in the HK416.
Why do I care? I like listening to people with undeniable credentials, that’s why.
