This VFC KAC front Micro BUIS was from from Airsoft Tiger111HK (fast becoming my favourite HK store). The RS goes for about £160+shipping in the UK , at time of writing and there’s no way I’m paying that for a front sight.
Sometimes too expensive IS too expensive, as my friend Alan says.
You’ve got to expect a significant drop in quality between airsoft and RS, but TBH the RS KAC 600m rear BUIS I’ll mate this VFC sight with isn’t all that, superficially, when compared to the aesthetic quality of Troy and Diamond Head BUIS to name but two.
Anyway, I am pleasantly surprised by the VFC offering. The texture is a bit rough, but it’s crisply moulded and the flip up locking action is very similar to the RS. There’s even a smear of lithium grease in the hinge – just like the RS.
Trades on base and blade are nice, too – as are the other markings.
