I first had one of these on a visit to Tampopo so I’m guessing it’s Asian influenced. I’d probably know more if I remembered what I’d ordered.

It’s just drip or cafitere coffee, poured over A LOT of condensed milk. It’s absolutely delicious. Creamy and sweet. I’ve found the best coffee to use is an Italian roast – something like Lavzza – because the taste of the coffee is cleaner.
